The Edyfyce takeoff separates two jobs generative AI conflates: measuring — a geometric computation — and naming — an act of language. The first never goes through the second.


From drawing drop to BoQ, in five steps

  1. 1 · The drawing comes in as it is

    Vector PDF, bill of quantities, IFC: the document is indexed without manual conversion. Scans go through text recognition and are treated for what they are — images, with the limits stated.

  2. 2 · Geometry computes

    A dedicated geometric engine walks the drawing vectors: closed contours → areas, polylines → linear lengths, repeated symbols → counts. No number comes out of a language model.

  3. 3 · AI names, the measurement stays

    The model assigns the meaning — which work item, which package, which unit — to quantities already measured. If the meaning is uncertain, the line says so; an average never hides it.

  4. 4 · You review, line and stroke linked

    The review highlights both ways: a table line lights up its zone on the drawing, a drawing zone finds its line. Approval happens with full knowledge.

  5. 5 · The BoQ exports as xlsx

    Structured by work packages, units intact, ready for your estimating chain — or for the Edyfyce estimate, with no re-typing.

What it reads, and what polices it

An automated measurement bench replays reference geometries on every release: median deviation tolerated ≤ 0.5%, and zero invented quantities. If it fails, nothing ships.
